Consultant Care

Safety Is No Accident

It is an understanding that resonates throughout the entire industry, and it is why wellbeing is one of our fundamental values.

The support that we provide is modular and depends on the region in which we are operating. In principle, however, we deploy a range of tools and resources that focus on three key areas:

Having a genuine understanding of the work location is paramount, and we are committed to providing a wealth of information on each region in which we operate via in-country guides.

Featuring guidance issued by the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office and security reports from our Risk Management Partner, Drum Cussac, our guides provide a comprehensive insight into ongoing conflicts, crime levels, local authorities and medical facilities.

Our medical response plans provide clear and concise advice on what to do in the event of an illness or medical emergency. We want our personnel to feel reassured, informed and confident about what to do in any eventuality.

Effective journey management is critical to guaranteeing the wellbeing of personnel. If required, Leader can provide assistance in making travel arrangements to and from the work location.

When travelling, personnel are encouraged to follow our HSE travel policy which is reinforced by daily security updates relevant to the work location.

It is all backed up by our world-class response capabilities.

All travel is supported by a 24/7 response line, with trained individuals at Leader Engineering ready to help in the event of any emergency situation, whether it be security or medical related.

Through our partners, we are able to access crisis management planning and emergency response centres, as well as arrange emergency evacuations globally.
