The Hottest Oil & Gas Jobs Of 2015 #humanresources

By 28th December 2015 Industry News No Comments

As 2015 comes to a close, we are reflecting on the O&G jobs landscape of the past year here at Oilpro.

Layoffs have certainly dominated the headlines during 2015, but there was still plenty of hiring quietly occurring in the industry. Many Oilpros received offers from the thousands of O&G employers that post positions on the site. As Oilpro founder David Kent noted Monday, seekers on the website are still finding open positions in spite of the downturn.

A large portion of the industry’s talent pool is still moving towards retirement age, and replacement hiring will continue despite the downturn. Oilpro still has almost 8,000 industry openings listed as 2015 draws to a close. During 2016, we expect number of open O&G positions will reach bottom and start to stabilize at a “maintenance” hiring level until growth returns to the industry.

Below are some details about the most popular jobs on Oilpro during 2015.
