Who we are

We are not a generalist recruiter; we are highly selective with the roles that we recruit. Being so selective ensures we can talk with real depth about your requirements and how we can support you.

Today we only focus on Drilling, Completions and Well Intervention. Indeed, supporting upstream projects is part and parcel of our heritage, and our involvement can be tracked back to the 1970s when our founder Grahame Roberts took his first steps into the oil and gas arena.

With over forty years’ experience within the industry Grahame’s knowledge and network only enhanced the service that we were providing, and we quickly developed an enviable reputation.

A reputation built supplying top engineering talent to some of the most hostile and rewarding environments in the world. We have placed people on almost every continent on the planet and done so with safety and well-being at the forefront.

Leader Engineering is unique in its approach, and our success has primarily been as a result of our understanding of the markets in which we operate, from both a technical and logistical perspective.

Our experience was gained traditionally by time at the coalface. Today, supporting our operations, we have fully staffed offices in the UK (London) and Guyana (Georgetown).

From inception, our goal has been to bridge the gap between the traditional introduction recruitment agencies and external service companies, and we have provided support and solutions to some of the biggest operators in the industry, consistently proving our competency through technical manpower provision and engineering solutions. We are focused on uniting world-class employers with the world’s top engineering talent.
